Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Scope of the Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through flashnity for Course A, our fast visual production resource. The resource covers quick media updates, camera flashes, lighting setup, studio cues, and efficient workflows for event coverage. It governs both one-time access purchases and recurring subscriptions for digital content, training modules, and related services delivered via our commercial website targeting customers in the United Kingdom.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for UK customers. Additional charges may apply for premium add-ons or extended access periods. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect confirmed orders. No hidden fees are applied beyond those clearly stated at checkout.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as secure payment gateways compliant with UK financial regulations. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order placement. All transactions are processed through encrypted systems to protect your data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We do not store full card details on our servers.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation detailing the order. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation. Access to Course A content is granted immediately for digital services unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Rights and Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for most services. However, for digital content that begins immediately upon access, this right may be lost once you start downloading or streaming materials. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
Refund Eligibility and Exclusions
Refunds are available for unused subscriptions within the cooling-off period if no substantial content has been accessed. Non-refundable items include already downloaded modules, completed training sessions, and promotional or discounted offers. Services that have been fully delivered are excluded from refunds.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us via the form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. Provide your order number, reason for the request, and any supporting details. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits.
Refund Decision Process
We will inspect your request and notify you of our decision within 14 days. You may be asked for additional information. Approved refunds are processed promptly, while rejected requests include an explanation of the reasons based on this policy.
Refund Methods and Processing Times
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days, though it may vary depending on your bank. Funds should appear in your account within 30 days at most.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Services
Due to the immediate nature of digital delivery in Course A, refunds for accessed content are limited. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Promotional offers have specific terms that may affect eligibility.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments will result in access suspension until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded where verified. Chargebacks are handled in accordance with card scheme rules. Suspected fraud leads to account review and possible reporting to authorities under UK law.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your mandatory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, or other applicable legislation. You retain the right to seek remedies through the courts or alternative dispute resolution if needed.
Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date
